The Chronicles of Tate: Weeks 11 and 12

The monkey has been conquered!

Tate worked very hard to coordinate his little arms and pull the monkey off his jungle gym. The little tongue was clenched between his lips in concentration. And he waved the monkey around for quite some time once the task was completed!



Hayley and Tate take a nap together (the sure way to get him to sleep more than 15 minutes!)

We drove to Virginia for Hayley to be in her buddy Jessica's wedding (it was beautiful!). We go to take advantage and spend time with the fam! July 4th was spend at Chris and Laura Beth's house. Unfortunately, Wyatt was under the weather, so we had to keep the boys apart. But Tate still got to try out Wyatt's Bumbo! What a big boy!

And the teething Wyatt (poor guy had a cold and teeth cutting), was chewing on Nana's Corona bottle for a little relief!

The Chronicles of Tate: Weeks 9 and 10

Tate had a couple of big weeks as he completed his second month.

Tate and Hayley flew to Richmond to spend the week at Nana's house, since Tim was out of town. Getting through the airport proved to be a bit of a task, but the flight itself was very easy. And Tate really loved Nana's house! He got to visit with his cousin Wyatt and see Aunt Laura Beth and Uncle Chris, and a whole day with his Grumps!

Returning from Virginia, Tate had a visit from Angie while she was down to go to Emily's baby shower (can't wait for our new friend!!). Here's Naked Tate!

The following week was Father's Day, Tim's first!! So Tate dressed up in a very Daddy-like little shirt and posed for a few pictures as mini-Tim.

The Chronicles of Tate: Weeks 7 and 8

Our little Tate is getting so big! And his hair is really starting to grow in...he no longer has male pattern baldness...

We spent 5 days at Nana's in Virginia, where he was very spoiled! He also got to meet his cousin Wyatt and they had a GREAT photo shoot. Once I get the images from the shoot, I'll post the best ones here.

Tate has really started to be more interactive. He "talks" and smiles and is really tons of fun!

We go for walks and do chores in the sling...where he usually passes out

"Uncle" Kevin came by just before he got his mullet chopped to memorialize the look.

The Chronicles of Tate: Weeks 5 and 6

Tate's becoming more animated and independent. He's starting to coo and smile, which is actually hard for me to get used to. I'm expecting it to turn to crying and it doesn't!

And he's finally starting to fit into Newborn clothes! Yes, our little guy is very skinny and we had to go out and buy a size called "Just Born" until he fits into Newborns. The Newborns are still big, but the Just Borns are too short! And are starting to get hard to get over his noggin :-)

We dressed like Daddy today to run errands!

Tate really likes his jungle gym! You can sort of see here how he's moving arms and legs all at once!

Our first Kickball game! Got to get the kid started off right!
